Many people have asked about the itinerary or schedule that we will be following in Medjugorje.  Below are some highlights of the things that we will be doing and places that we will be visiting while we are in Medjugorje.  Going to Medjugorje is an invitation of Our Lady.  We hope that you will join us with a peaceful and prayerful heart.

(Please note that the exact schedule of each day will depend on whether there are any local talks by priests or visionaries, and also depends on the weather.)

The Heart of the Program:

International Evening Program

Evening Program consists of:

  • Prayer of Rosary in Different Languages (Joyful, Luminous or Sorrowful Mysteries)
  • Holy Mass (with English radio transmission FM 94.3)
  • 6:40pm: Apparition of Our Lady (please kneel in prayer)
  • Peace Rosary
  • Healing Prayers
  • Blessing of Religious Articles
  • Prayer of Rosary (Glorious Mystery)
  • Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament (Tuesdays and Saturday)
  • Thursdays there is Adoration immediately after the evening Mass
  • Veneration of the Cross immediately after the evening Mass (Friday)
  • Adoration on the 25th of each month, overnight silent Adoration till dawn, inside the church

(NOTE:  We encourage everyone to participate the entire evening program, especially Eucharistic Adoration or Veneration of the Holy Cross after Holy Mass.  There are a lot of great graces and blessings that await for you.)

Explanation of the evening prayer program:

(1). [The evening programme begins with the Joyful mysteries, plus the Sorrowful mysteries, (except on Thursdays: replaced by the Luminous mysteries, or other variations during Advent, Christmas, Lent, and Easter.]

(2). [Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary.][‘Moli, moli za nas’ means ‘Pray, pray for us.’]

“Dear children! During these days my Lord is allowing me to be able to intercede for more graces for you.” (06/19/1986) “Ask me to pray to my Son for you.” (03/02/2017, Mirjana)

(3). [Prayer to the Holy Spirit]

“Pray to the Holy Spirit for enlightenment.” (11/08/1984) “I call you, dear children, to pray for the gifts of the Holy Spirit. (04/17/1986)

(4). [Holy Mass]

“I am calling you for the Eucharist to be the life of your soul.” (08/02/2014) “By living Holy Mass each day, you will feel the need for holiness and you will grow in holiness.” (01/25/1998)

(5). [Pray the Creed, the 7 Our Fathers, Hail Marys and Glory Bes.]

“There are many souls in Purgatory. There are also persons who have been consecrated to God: some priests, some religious. Pray for their intentions, at least 7 Our Father’s, Hail Mary’s and Glory Be’s and the Creed. I recommend it to you. There is a large number of souls who have been in Purgatory for a long time because no one prays for them.” (07/21/1982) “For the cure of the sick, it is important to say the following prayers: the Creed, 7 Our Father’s, Hail Mary’s and Glory Be’s.” (07/25/1982) “There are many Christians who are no longer faithful, because they do not pray anymore. Have them begin again to recite each day, at least, 7 Our Father’s, 7 Hail Mary’s, 7 Glory Be’s, and the Creed.” (12/–/1983)

(6). [Blessing of religious articles.]

“I call you to place more blessed objects in your homes and that everyone put some blessed objects on their person. Bless all the objects and thus Satan will attack you less because you will have armor against him.” (07/18/1985)

(7a). [Prayers for healing (except Thursday and Friday).]

“Ask of Jesus to heal your wounds.” (03/25/1997)

(8). [Finish with the Glorious mystery.]

(7b). [Thursday: Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.]

“Spend all the more time in prayer and Adoration of Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar, for him to change you and to put into your hearts a living faith and a desire for eternal life.” (03/25/2008)

“Dear children, I want to tell you that the cross should be central these days. Pray especially before the crucifix from which great graces come.” (09/12/1985)

(9). [Tuesday and Saturday, two hours after the end of Holy Mass: Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.

SUMMER SCHEDULE

Summer schedule of the prayer programme: June 1st to August 31st

  • 6 p.m. Rosary and Confession
  • 7 p.m. Holy Mass
  • 10 p.m. Adoration (Tuesdays & Saturdays) outside altar if weather permits
  • 4 p.m. Devotion of the Way of the Cross on Cross Mountain (Fridays)
  • 4 p.m. Rosary on Apparition Hill (Sundays)

WINTER SCHEDULE

Winter schedule of the prayer programme: September 1st to May 31st

  • 5 p.m. Rosary
  • 6 p.m Holy Mass
  • 9 to 10 p.m. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament (Tuesdays & Saturdays)
  • 2 p.m. Rosary on Apparition Hill (Sunday)
  • 2 p.m. the Way of the Cross (Friday)
  • 1 p.m. Croatian Holy Mass (Saturdays)
